All the other guns are continuous fire though, so theres no shortage of mega spam weapons if thats what you are worried about. It helps to differentiate the mini-gun a bit more. While it does kinda suck having to reload I can understand it from a balancing point. They are magazines (clips are used to load a magazine, usually only on internal mag guns) and yea, there are 3 guns that need reloading I think, the pistol (always needed reloading in the originals too), the shotgun (not so bad as it can be interrupted and you can still shoot whats loaded) and the assault rifle. The humor has been toned down too.īut the biggest offense is that there are no Cucurbitos. The dialogues are painful, and Sam curses way too much. Croteam went conservative on this game, which is kind of disappointing. I can't say i regret the pre-order, but i got more out of the HD remakes than i'll probably get out of this. The insistence in doing close-up on the characters faces, despite the facial animation being obnoxious. The witches and the helicopters take pacing out of the game. There are less guns, the sniper rifle and the laser gun are "secret weapons", with very rare ammunition caches (i would guess 30 sniper rounds through the campaign). You're back to Egypt, and this theme persists through the entire game, which is annoying. Some decisions, however, are questionable. The graphics on BFE are improved, and so are the animations, the game looks better and is more fluid, shaking off the amateurish feel from the previous titles (the HD remakes being so faithful to the originals). It's still Serious Sam alright, but i can't shake the feeling that The Second Encounter is better in almost every respect. It's definitely a lot of fun, i finished the SP and played some Cooperative sessions. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
